Costumed Giants Fanatics Spotted at the Parade

When the Giants won the World Series, we knew we’d be at the celebratory parade, but little did we know we’d be in it! Earlier this week, we were invited by our friends at Ride the Ducks (Remember when we went on an urban photo safari with them?) to ride in one of their land-meets-sea mobiles that would be carrying Giants staff in today’s parade. We were over the moon excited and honored to be in such grand company.

This was our first time watching a parade from the other side, and this Halloween-themed Giants love fest didn’t disappoint. We were blown away with the creative ways Giants fans dressed in costume while still repping home team pride.

First, meet Captain Lou. No, he’s not in a Halloween costume, he’s actually a Captain of a Ride the Ducks vehicle. Lou gave us the best seats in the duck for costume-spotting.

Here are some dedicated fans sporting Gigante-themed costumes: Img_9955-2

Costume inspired by that dang Geico commercial that dedicated game-watchers memorized by the end of the season. Great job, Manny!

World Series Angel (we think Diana’s costume is an ode to Giants outfielder Angel Pagan).

But Giants-themed costumes weren’t the only ways hardcore fans celebrated the World Series victory. Check out some impressive DIY signage we saw in the crowd.
