When BART turned 40 this week, this map porn sketched up by a grad student was passed around the internet like a hot potato. Such extensive BART coverage is a Bay Area commuter’s wet dream, but sadly nothing more. Damn you, BART. (via SFist)

Bender’s is offering a new way to clog your arteries. For a limited time, the donut bacon cheeseburger is listed on the menu. Careful foodies, this delectible is not for the faint of heart.  (via Uptown Almanac)

On route with the city’s zero waste goals, plastic bags are banned (old news). But the city has taken a step further on its green path. Starting next month, paper bags are going to cost you 10 cents each. Problem solved: stop by our pop-up shop at Voyager to snag a reusable tote. (via SF Appeal)
